These methods of cheering people up who are depressed are insincere because nobody is ever going to understand how you feel. The best thing to do is to just listen to them. Whatever is bothering them is best expressed through conversation not judgment and false consolation.

@pollordubai That was very well, and beautifully put. Somehow seeing someone write that makes me feel better. Thank you. =)

@narutorulez81 It is funny how true that statement is. He was the only one who offers a solution albeit a very superficial one.

Suicide is not the answer. I became depressed as an adult with a business to run and employees to pay after a crash where I hit and killed a cyclist in 2005. I then gave up my license and around Christmas of 2006 tried to kill myself with an overdose, its just not the way. You need to find which direction the light is coming from, and chase it. Get a job, get a gym membership, go socialising, renew contacts with old family members, whatever it is you need to do it.

the worst part, the high school jock is the one that made the most sense.

@TheLizzyMul thanks for the concern it actually means a lot, but i tried talking to a councilor but they really dont seem to care what so ever. and they always root the problemto my family witch its not. but ill try another one see if that works..

@tehsempai Don't be suicidal, that's just bad. I'm not sure the pills are the answer, maybe you should talk to a psychologist, that usually helps more. It's really quite easy, you just have to talk, and in the end you find out stuff about yourself. BTW people shouldn't be ashamed of this, if you go to the doctor's with a stomach ache, why wouldn't you go when your feelings are hurt. Hope you get better soon.
