Chemical inbalance is only half of it. It's the tiny invisible balls of plasma sensing the chemical inbalance in a person's brain, and decide to reside in that person's brain. With each ball of plasma becoming a voice inside that person's head. I know this, because i am a schizophrenic. Tom cruise doesn't jackshit about psychiatry or the suffering of us schizophrenics. Tom has been proven right again, a new study shows antidepressants aren't any more effective than placebo. Also the chemical imbalance theory, has been proven over simplified and crude. Just a bunch of overracting house wife's acting like they know shit.
