if your so upset about this other doctor and the way he is abusing this control over this woman why not report him ?If you want change then do something about it instead of complaining about how sad you are !

You do get so sucked in. I have seen a psychiatrist for SO many years- due to psych drugs, my liver is huge- and fatty. THANK YOU ZYPREXA AND DEPAKOTE-.. I don't know- I have to go off my meds (am off them now) due to my liver- and am crashing and such. This guy mentions a successful strategy- needs to contact me... I'm broke- and sick- and need help.. physically.. SO- your talk sounds good- but how about contacting me @psychetruth.

@TheBatmanSmells I would urge you to try alternative therapy such as counselling or meditation before seeing a psychiatrist. Everybody's path to recovery will be different, but consider the risks and side affects associated with common psychiatric treatments before you get sucked in.

abusive YES tell me about it my life has been made hell many times over by these Doctors of Psychiatry where i live they have all the power and control over there patients and there's very little you can do to get away from them even if you want too ,unless your lucky enough to be able to afford legal representation. A line from a John Lennon song sums it up for me ...No 1 should have to live in Pain and Fear

most psychiatrists suck. the psychiatrist this guy is talking about is out of line. but this patient he's talking about, she might be too stupid to be really helped. someone who puts up with treatments that consistently fail for many years lacks intelligence.

This is my belief on evidence for mental illness. I think the aperture of the pupil of the eyes are changing sizes much faster than normal because the psyche has not got enough time to compare thoughts with emotion for logical decisions when communicating. This may be causing erratic behavior and the evidence is the faster body movements of a psychotic person. I am a schizophrenic.

My shrink likes that I work out, and he is encouraging me to do yoga because it is offered at my gym. He also wanted me to get more vitamin D.when I got depressed in the winter. I think my shrink cares abut me...I guess I'm lucky. I'm also distrustful of shrinks,so I don't treat them like gods, and am leery about a lot of psych drugs. Some drugs help, but weight lifting and a healthy diet are just as important--MORE important.
