@london2z yes, naturopaths can be a great help.. esp if the depression is celiac related. I see one to treat my lupus becuz my system actually attacks the drugs they used to treat it! but natural works for me.

My sister has a mental illness, and found out she is gluten-intolerant and dairy-sensitive. So all these years she has been eating foods she's allergic to! She's feeling much better, now, with the new diet, and vitamin/herb therapies, combined with the pharmaceuticals, (the side-effects from which have subsided). So, combined, I believe there is a place for prescription drugs. There are even pharmacies, now, that sell combination-therapy products. Consult a naturopath. Attack the source.

@ArionaMew Yeah... It's hard to beleive that people listen to those "Possible" side-effects, and go ahead with taking them anyway! Someone needs to protect such dolts; they're inherently suicidal at the least!

I'm not a trained and liscensed psychiatrist so I need someone who is smarter than I am to explain to me the difference between using psychotropic drugs as a daily crutch vs. using alcohol and street drugs as a daily crutch.
